We offer a canine Pregnancy Scanning & Fertility Service based in Milton Keynes.
Scans are carried out in our clinic in a calm and clean environment and performed by a trained sonographer with over 10 years experience.
The scans last approx. 15 minutes and involves an examination of the abdomen to confirm pregnancy, a picture/video of your girls scan can also be sent to you.
Ultrasound scanning is a safe and non invasive procedure when scanning for pregnancy in dogs.
For best results from your scan we recommend to scan 32 days after mating.
It is not necessary to clip but sometimes, with the owners permission a small amount of abdomen hair may need to be removed for the best scan quality.
Benefits of having your girl scanned:
* You are able to prepare and plan your litter.
* Enables you to find potential owners for the expected litter.
* If you show your dogs you can plan your shows.
* Phantom pregnancies can be detected.
As well as ultrasound scanning we offer microchipping and fertility services!
Fully trained & insured to microchip dogs. My training included the essential Lantra training which is now a must have to be legally qualified in microchipping dogs.
The new laws of April 2016 mean EVERY dog must be microchipped and all puppies must leave the breeders already microchipped!
All the latest microchipping equipment is used, microchips are individually packed and sealed to ensure they are sterile. Every microchip will be added to the Smart trace database.
